Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-19
This policy explains what personal data is handled when you use Find Cloud Security at findcloudsecurity.com. The site has no user accounts, no payments and no comments. You can use the finder, the vendor profiles and the comparison pages without giving us any personal data.
Who we are
Find Cloud Security ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us only through the contact form.
What data we handle
Contact form. If you write to us, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. For a copyright notice we also receive the work you identify, the address of the material on this site, your statements and your electronic signature.
Technical data. Like any website, the hosting provider that serves these pages automatically logs technical data with each request: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. This is used to operate and secure the site.
Browser storage. The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to localStorage or sessionStorage. Your finder answers and the vendors you pick on the side-by-side page are kept only in the page address.
Google Fonts. The site's typefaces load from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, your IP address and browser details reach Google, which handles them under its own privacy policy.
We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking tools.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
Under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, we rely on our legitimate interests to operate and secure the site and to read and answer messages you send us, including corrections and requests. Where the law requires your consent for something, we ask for it first, and you can withdraw it at any time.
We use contact messages only to handle the matter you raise. We do not use them for marketing.
International transfers
Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards. Where data leaves the EU or UK, we rely on safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to deal with your message and any follow-up, and then delete them. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period that the provider sets.
Your rights
EU and UK. You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests or withdraw consent. You can also complain to the data protection supervisory authority where you live or work.
California. Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you can ask to know what personal information we hold about you, and to delete or correct it. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, although we do neither. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
Other privacy laws. You also have rights under other privacy laws that apply to you.
To use any of these rights, send a message through the contact form with the topic "Privacy request". We may ask for details to confirm the request is yours.
Children
The site is written for people choosing security tools at work. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does with data changes, we will update this policy and the date at the top.
